Cake Studios was founded by partners Chris & Tatyana. When they met in 2016, they conceptualized the idea of creating a production studio specializing in timeless & classic weddings. With Tatyana’s love of fashion & aesthetic and Chris’ love of art & cinema, they married the two ideas to come up with their ultimate vision.
Within the last several years, Cake Studios has evolved into a team of curated artists who share the same artistic values and approach of timeless storytelling. We determine who will be shooting your wedding by getting to know you and seeing who the best fit is based on your unique style.
Our philosophy is quality over quantity. We book a maximum of 25 weddings locally per year. This allows our team to focus on each individual couple - providing the best service possible to our clients as well as allowing us to push our creative boundaries.
Our team has a natural and stress-free approach given our many years our experience. We aim to provide our clients with a fresh & timeless look while always maintaining an artistic edge. Our style is inspired by the art of cinema and film photography as our goal is to capture your love in an authentic way.

OUR approach
After many years in the industry, we have learnt to adapt to changes & situations that could arise the day of a wedding and handle it with ease. On the day of, we are very relaxed in terms of our work flow and our goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible for you to enjoy your day to the fullest with your loved ones. Our focus is on capturing real, authentic moments between you and your partner.
We will be present to capture the getting ready prep through to ceremony reception, & afterparty. Ultimately, our goal is to capture your unique love story. Every wedding is different and we intend to celebrate that.
